A thin porcelain shell is bonded to the front of the tooth. It changes colour and shape without removing much of the tooth.
Who is it for?
For people unhappy with the colour, shape or small gaps between their front teeth.
What happens during the visit?
- 1A scan and a photo of your smile.
- 2You see a proposal of the result before anything is done.
- 3A small amount of the tooth surface is prepared.
- 4The veneers are made at a dental laboratory.
- 5They are tried in and bonded on.
Does it hurt? What about anaesthetic?
Usually little to none. Anaesthetic is available if you want it.
Cost
The price is per veneer. How many depends on how many teeth show when you smile.
After the treatment
Avoid biting anything very hard for the first few days. Veneers do not tolerate chewing ice or opening packaging.
